So, what’s Modo?
We’re one of the longest-running venues in the heart of Liverpool and we’ve been bringing the party for more than 25 years. Set on the popular Concert Square , there’s nowhere better in the city for people watching, with bars and plenty of outdoor seating, plus a retractable heated canopy.
Inside we’ve a ground floor clubroom with private booths and the first floor features a dance lounge and Terrace which gives the best views on the square, also with a retractable roof so you can catch some rays or dance the night away under the stars.
Where are you based?
Modo is on Concert Square in the heart of Liverpool’s buzzy Ropewalks district. It’s easily accessed on foot or by taxi, with plenty of hotels and apart-hotels close by if you’re staying in the city.
We’re 5 minutes walk from Liverpool Central Station off Bold Street which has direct connections to Liverpool Lime Street. If you’re driving there’s plenty of on-street parking within the area plus some large car parks (Q Park Hanover Street and Q Park Liverpool ONE) close by.

What are your opening hours?
Monday-Thursday from 4pm
Friday and Sunday from 2pm
Saturday from 12pm
We’re open right through until 3am every night of the week night.
What events do you have on?
There’s usually something happening nightly, from named DJs to Disco-themed nights. As you’d expect Friday and Saturdays are our busiest days. Check our events page to keep up to date.
Can I bring a group or event to Modo?
Of course, Modo is perfect for large scale parties and groups, from celebration events to Stags and Hens. Booth, table and small groups can book directly via our 3D booking system here.

Are Stags and Hen Parties welcome?
Unlike many other Liverpool venues we’re more than happy to welcome Stags and Hens, please be aware we do have a dress code guidelines at certain times to be respectful to other guests.
Do you have any private hire space?
Yes, our first floor events pace is available to hire seven days a week for up to 300 guests, and includes the glass roof terrace (maximum capacity is 50 guests ) - whether its a Stag, Hen, Birthday, or Christmas party, get in touch and we’d be happy to discuss your requirements and talk you through our drinks packages.
Is there a hire minimum spend?
Yes for the Terrace (50 guests max) it’s £500 minimum spend (£150 deposit), seven days a week.
Full First Floor hire (300 guests max) is £2500 minimum spend (£400 deposit) on weekends and £500 minimum spend (£150 deposit) on weekdays. All deposits are refunded after your event when the minimum stand is met. If you would like to use our DJ equipment there is a £50 deposit.
Please note that if you cancel your party within 14-days of the event date you will lose your deposit. If you cancel before 14-days of the event date you will receive a full refund.
What drinks do you offer?
We’ve all the usual draught lagers, beers and bottled drinks you’d expect from a city venue but we’re best known for our cocktails - including great value 2 for £10 cocktails at selected times - just the thing if you’re with a group friends on a night out and looking to get the party started!
Can I pre order drinks for my party?
Yes, no problem, we’ve a variety of packages to choose from and include premium Vodkas, Tequilas and spirits, Proseccos and mixers. We’ve five levels of booth packages available which can be booked in advance and will be waiting for your arrival. They’re the ideal stress-free option when you’re the party organiser! Is it advisable to book ahead?
Yes, we’d certainly recommend reserving a table during the weekend to avoid disappointment as we can be very busy. Click here to select your table or booth via our 3D booking system.

Is there Wheelchair access?
Yes there is level access from street level to our outside seating area, the boardwalk and the ground floor clubroom, with guest facilities on the same floor.
